Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and author who won several prizes. Ali MacGraw is known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. Beginning, she worked as a photographer's assistant. Then she shifted her focus to modeling and directing. In her first two films her name was acknowledged and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international notoriety, as well as several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. In just three films, she was voted the Top female debut at the box office around the globe. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name, hand-prints and foot prints in the year 1972. She also appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
