Ina-Garten

Ina Gardner is the author of a number of popular American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. The show began in 2002. Ina started her career as a writer for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy reports. Her first impression was that her job to be intellectually stimulating, however, she eventually lost interest and bought a small grocery store that was named Barefoot Contessa. Her store was extremely successful for 18 years, until she decided to sell it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. After that, several books were released and she also wrote magazine columns. A different hit came from the Food Network Television show. She also sells everything from equipment to cooking items and even containers. Ina did not go to a cookery school nor was she employed at a restaurant. She is entirely self-taught. Ina's easygoing style of entertaining and her straightforward culinary style is widely known. Her best-known recipes include Skillet Lemon Chicken roasted by Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic roast Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars and Mac & cheese.
